Back to Blogging
Well folks.... I am back! I doubt anyone is following this anymore- however, I am going to start blogging again because it was a nice way to keep a journal without sitting in bed and falling asleep!! March seems so long ago- who am I kidding, it was!! Since my last post, we tried to but did not really celebrate our anniversary, had Michael's "Old Fart" 40th birthday, Mother's day, Kaytlin's birthday, our first family vacation, Erin's birthday, back to school, Johnathon (school Pres)and Erin (8th grade Rep)both in student body, and most important I am once again a wife, mother, and homemaker. Mike and I are deeply in love and are learning and growing closer together every day. It has well been worth the hard work and effort to be where we are today! I can't imagine there being anything better or anything more wonderful than what we have now- but I also know that many unimaginable and great things lie ahead!! For that reason I am so excited to have such a wonderful and loving companion by my side- our life together is truely amazing! I have never felt so complete and happy. My life is filled with joy!! Now tomorrow when I am frustrated beyond belief- just know that I expect there to be not so great days, but I am still happy and am grateful for good days and bad days. They help me to become the person I am today and the person I want to become tomorrow. So, to again resume this blog, I state simply- we have come a long way!!! Here is to another day together as the Anson Clan!! xoxoxo Babe, I Love You!!!!

Hello???
Yep-- it's me and yes I am still alive. I have not dropped off the face of the earth as most of you think- I just happened to go back to work and life has just been to CRAZY and HECTIC!! So to copy my sis I will briefly run through the last couple of months:
1. I started my new job in the NICU at the Hospital. Full time, enjoy it but the demand on my time is insane.
2. Started my second job with Mike. Part time, enjoy it but it is an additional demand on my time.
3. Mike has taken on the role as Mr. Mom. Although there is no way a man will ever compare in the role of mom, he is doing an amazing job- and my favorite part is that he does not get offended when I am constantly texting him throughout the day to remind him to be on time for Johnathons soccer or when to put dinner in the oven etc. He also has stepped up in helping to relieve my stress rather than creat it. (minus the episode this week, it is not a pretty sight when mom reaches her boiling point, needless to say he saw me in a whole new light...ugh)
4. Hilton started baseball, and Mike started coaching. I have yet to see him at practice- games start at the end of the month. They both absolutely love it. Stay tuned for exciting pictures.
5. My mom and dad came down to visit- It wasn't a long visit, but we really enjoyed it. I took them on a hike while Mike was at work and the kids at school. It was awesome!! It was the longest hike my mom has ever been on. She was tired but she pulled through and after a good stretch at the end was ready to go home to be with the kids.
6. Mike and I celebrated valentines day with the kids. We made the restaurant for them. No pictures but it was alot of fun!!
Other than that, there is not alot to report. I will post again soon.

Flying by..
Wow-- that week went fast. Not alot to report. We stayed busy, I had the usual week filled with decompression apts for my back (ugh- getting tired of that) and trying to get to the gym to get some strength and mobility back. I push way to hard to fast and end up taking one step forward and two steps back. I did FINALLY get a job!!! :) Yipee!! It only took 10 months of applying. I start Feb and I will be working in the NICU at Banner Health. I dread the thought of going, but, a girl has to have a fall back plan in this house. :) I laugh about it but it does cause some major stress! I enjoyed EVERY second I was able to be a full time mom, and yes my heart is sad that I won't be able to be here or give the kids the time and attention they need and I want to give them-- and right here I will change the subject so I don't cry! Friday night (Date night) I asked Mike out. :) I grabbed him when he got home from work before he could get in the house and drove to the restruant where I had made reservations. It was called Ellis Escape and happened to be on Ellis street which happens to be where we live. I rang the door bell and we were greeted by 6 little hostesses. Indiana Jones (Hilton) a cheerleader (Kaytlin) a suited and well mannered Johnathon, Sadie in a too small tutu, Rebekah in a christmas leotard, and Erin as herself waiting to go babysit someone elses kids. There was a $6 entry fee into the resturant which conveniently covered their wages for "work" that night. We selected ham, scalloped potatoes, tomatoes, corn and rolls from the menu, it was quite a feast for $6 :) We saw they were hungry so we asked the help to sit and join our quiet candlelight dinner. Then they stuck us with the bill!! :) They wanted another $20 plus tip. :) we tried to weasle our way out of it, so they kicked us out! :) They locked the door so we went for a nice walk. When we returned we were able to bribe them with dessert. We had brownies and icecream. It was such a fun evening! Funny how they come up with those things. I asked them if they would serve us dessert after our date and instead they planned our date for us. Mike loved it and so did the kids! I remember all of us kids doing dinner for my parents when I was little- getting all dressed up and cooking the best we knew how- and then maybe a play or special performance. It was so much fun- and it is still fun being on the receiving end!

Johnathon played in his first Allstar Soccer Tournament this last weekend in Tuscon. Grandma and Grandpa Anson came down to cheer him on, the weather was warm and beautiful, and we had a great time!!!

M&M
By way of the Mike & Me Update-- I am happy to report that things are going very well. The kids and I moved back in when we came back from Utah and Mike and I are filing a dismissal for the divorce with the courts this week. I had filed a response to his petition before we left so he couldn't up and sign at any moment and divorce by default. Had to cover my back!! Anyhow, we are doing much better and I feel that we are stronger and closer than we have ever been. We are going to counseling together. It took us 5 counselors but I believe we have finally been guided to the one that will actually address the underlying issues we are dealing with. I love Mike very much, and we both agree that a marriage is just something you don't quit. There are many things we are learning and changing in order to keep this marriage together but realize that we still have a long road and alot of work ahead of us. I truly believe that divorce is a result of selfishness. No matter how you look at it!!! I also believe that the fundamental principals of repentance and forgiveness are the basis of a strong, loving, and successful relationship. Marriage is a wonderful thing if we are just willing to do the work AND NEVER GIVE UP!!
